Skylar is a law clerk with Perry & Villarreal, LLP.  

Skylar received her bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, East Bay.  After graduating, she began her legal career as a paralegal in business immigration, where she assisted individuals navigating the complex laws and regulations of the U.S. immigration system.  This experience strengthened her interest in advocacy and inspired her to pursue a legal education.

Skylar is currently in her second year at McGeorge School of Law.  Through her legal studies, she has developed a particular interest in education law allowing her to combine her passion for advocacy with her interest in the legal issues affecting students, educators, and educational institutions.

Outside of school and work, Skylar enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and giving back to her community.
