BIOGRAPHY



After earning her bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California, Merced, and her teaching credential from Sacramento State University, Leigh Ann spent several years teaching in middle school and high school classrooms during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.  Her classroom experience provides her with a practical, first-hand understanding of and appreciation for the challenges educators and Local Educational Agencies face in supporting students.

Leigh Ann began her work in education law in 2025 after after becoming a paralegal.  She brings a strong commitment to equitable, student-centered systems and applies her background in universal design to support attorneys and clients with a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach.

Outside of work, Leigh Ann enjoys Dungeons & Dragons game nights, exploring new makeup trends, and spoiling her two tabby cats.
